Episode 322: What's Next? CPC chart new path forward.
The Conservative Party of Canada has shown Erin O'Toole the door and is looking to set a new path forward after a turbulent few months.
Erin O'Toole woke Wednesday morning fighting for his job and his political life. In a 73-45 vote in a secret ballot, the Conservative Caucus said enough was enough and turfed the Durham MP as Leader of the CPC.
Today we chat with Jacquie Fenske former MLA for Fort Saskatchewan - Vegreville and Interim leader of the Alberta Party, and Dan Harris former NDP MP for Scarborough South West.
We digest where the CPC goes from here, what its like to be in party politics during a leadership race, and how standing up against a party leader can be sometimes difficult. We also look at where the party goes from here and the new interim leader of the CPC Candice Bergen job at holding a fractured party together during a leadership race.
