After FCM, Whats Next?

Welcome to Municipal Affairs. I'm Christopher Brown.

This past weekend Municipal leaders from across Canada gathered in Calgary for the annual Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) convention.

The four-day conference was full of workshops, speeches from federal leaders, and networking with municipal leaders from coast-to-coast-to-coast in Canada.

On the last day of the four-day convention, we spoke to numerous presidents of municipal organizations in Canada about what they gathered from the event, and what they hope they take back to their respective provinces. We chat with Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador President Amy Coady, Union of Municipalities New Brunswick President Andrew Black, Association of Municipalities Ontario President Colin Best, Rural Municipalities of Alberta President Paul McLauchlin, Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities President Randy Goulden, and Alberta Municipalities President Tyler Gandam.

This is Municipal Affairs.
