Batgirl, Doom Patrol Star to descend upon Calgary for Fan Expo

Brendan Fraser who is filming the new DC Comic Book Movie Batgirl is heading to Calgary next month for the 15th Annual Fan Expo.

The announcement comes just over a month from the convention where Fraser will join other celebrities including William Shatner (Star Trek, Boston Legal), John Cleese (Monty Python) Elijah Wood (Lord of the Rings) Michael Rooker (Guardians fo the Galaxy) and Kevin Smith (Clerks, Dogma) to name a few.

Fraser is best known for playing Rick O'Connell in The Mummy trilogy (1999–2008), as well as for leading roles in comedy and fantasy films including Encino Man (1992), George of the Jungle (1997), Bedazzled (2000), Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003) and Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008).
