Tory Campbell of Division 2 in Lethbridge County was re-elected Reeve of the County at today's Organization Meeting. ,
Campbell said that it was an honour to be elected by his fellow councillors in a press release, "It is an honour to once again be elected by my fellow Council members to serve as Reeve for another year.
“I am encouraged by what we have been able to achieve so far in this term by focusing on regional collaboration, responsible decision-making and strong governance," the reeve added.
Campbell has been on Council since 2017, and has been serving as Reeve of Lethbridge County since 2020.
Alongside Campbell, Division 4 Councillor Tony Kuerbis was re-elected to the position of Deputy Reeve. Kuerbis was elected to council in 2021 and has been serving as Deputy Reeve since 2022.
In the same news release, Kuerbis said that he looks forward to serving in the role again, "I look forward to once again serving in the role of Deputy Reeve to further the great work that has been done so far in my term on Council.
“Council has a clear vision for the future and we are grateful for the opportunity to work toward the betterment of our community," the deputy reeve added.
Both Campbell and Kuerbis will be serving as Reeve and Deputy Reeve until the next organizational meeting of council in October 2024
