Picture Butte Heads to Polls November 7th

The town of Picture Butte will be heading to the polls on November 7th, to fill a council vacancy.

Councillor Scott Thomson resigned from his position as Councillor in the last week of August.

Thomson and the rest of the Council were acclaimed to their positions in 2021. He was the only newly appointed councillor, all other councillors had previously served on the council.

The nomination period for the by-election continues until October 10, 2023.
