Village of Stirling Councillor Bohn Resigns



The Small village of Stirling, Alberta will be heading to the polls on May 7th to elect a new Councillor.


At the February 7th Regular Councillor Meeting Councillor Devynn Bohn bid farewell to her seat on the Village Council by announcing her resignation.


The Village of Stirling, Alberta Located approximately 30 kilometres southeast of Lethbridge, has - according to the Province of Alberta website - not gone through a by-election in the last 20 years.


Bohn was first elected to Council in October 2021 when she alongside her fellow councillors were all acclaimed to the position.


In light of this vacancy, prospective candidates interested in filling the position are encouraged to submit their nomination packages in person during designated hours from Monday to Friday, with nominations being accepted until April 9th, 2024.
