From supporting council’s direction to leading municipal staff and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a city or town, the role demands experience, sound judgment, and an unwavering commitment to public service.

It’s a job that often happens outside the spotlight, but its impact is felt throughout the community.

At this year’s Alberta Municipalities Awards Gala, the Dedicated CAO Award recognized Kevin Nagoya, Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Cold Lake, for his long-term excellence and dedication to municipal government and chief administrative management.
