Welcome to Cross Border Interviews, the show where we dive into the insights of municipal political leaders from across Canada.
Our mission is to shine a light on the dedicated individuals who, day in and day out, work around the council table to shape the communities we call home.
For today’s episode, we head to Borden, Saskatchewan to chat with Mayor Jamie Brandrick.
The Village of Borden, Saskatchewan was founded in 1905. Since then, Borden has always been a community that every person is proud to call home.
Borden is conveniently situated on the divided, four-lane, Trans Canada Yellowhead Highway 16, 25 minutes northwest of Saskatoon. Borden is approximately 5 miles west of the North Saskatchewan River and offers excellent access to larger communities.
The community of Borden has a keen sense of its past. Progressive attitudes and loyalty to local businesses and services mean survival. Borden has a cooperative spirit, which makes life rich for individuals and organizations.
