Welcome to Cross Border Interviews.
Our goal is to create meaningful municipal conversations that inform, connect, educate and strengthen communities from coast to coast to coast in Canada.
For this edition of Cross Border Interviews, we are honoured to welcome to the show, Village of Berwyn Alberta, Mayor Nicole Johnson.
The Village of Berwyn, the little town with the tower.
Berwyn was one of the last communities in Alberta with a wooden water tower. The tower was a local landmark until it was taken down in 1982.
The tower replica proudly stands at the east entrance to the village.
Berwyn is nestled within the Peace River Region of northwestern Alberta.
It is a picturesque community that attracts young and old. Because of the long summer days and good soil, the rural community has been able to maintain a steady population in the surrounding area.
If you are looking for a place to raise a family or retire, Berwyn is the place!
