Homer Simpson's ears are probably ringing right now!
With over 750 submissions Plowy McPlowface, Mr. Plow and Frosty the Snowplow are the three most common submissions for Calgary's Student name a Plow Program.
At the halfway mark, Calgary Students have been submitting names for the city's newest program, Submissions must be entered by the end of the month at Calgary.ca/plow.
According to the City, more than 50 classes have taken part, and more than 500 individual students have also submitted names.
This contest is open to children and classes from Kindergarten to Grade 9.
Winning names will be announced in January 2022. Many will be visible on the side of our plows when they’re out there tackling the snow.
