Today, we’re bringing you a special one-on-one conversation with the newly appointed Executive Director of the Federation of PEI Municipalities — Satya Sen.
FPEIM recently announced Sen’s appointment, recognizing his proven leadership and deep knowledge of municipal issues. If his name sounds familiar, that’s because he’s already been a key figure behind the scenes — serving as FPEIM’s policy and special projects advisor, where he’s been instrumental in guiding municipalities through complex challenges.
With a background in law and island studies, and a strong track record in research, advocacy, and government relations, Satya brings a well-rounded and strategic perspective to his new role. From land use and infrastructure to rural development and climate action — his vision is as comprehensive as it is timely.
He also continues to serve as secretary of the Municipal Infrastructure Fund — supporting communities through lot subsidies that help make growth possible.
