LOTR, Trailer Park Boys, Clerks, Star Trek, & Clerks: Calgary EXPO has it all

Calgary will bring fans from a swath of fandoms together to celebrate its annual Calgary Expo.

Superstars from the Lord of the Ring franchise, Star Trek franchise, Trailer Park Boys, Cobra Kai (spin off of the popular 1980's The Karate Kid franchise), Kevin Smith's Clerks, and Star Wars will have something to rave about at the annual Fan Expo kicking off in April.

Calgary Expo is a four-day Comics, Sci-Fi, Horror, Anime, and Gaming event that attracts hundreds of thousands of people to come to Calgary, Alberta at Stampede Park.

Fans have a chance to get up close and personal with some of their favourite celebrities. This year Canadian Actor William Shattner (Star Trek, T.J Hooker, Boston Legal), Robb Wells (Trailer Park Boys), Mike Smith (Trailer Park Boys), and John Paul Tremblay (Trailer Park Boys) will be on hand to sign autographs and take photos with Albertans.

Other Celebrities included in the weekend long events including Kevin Smith (Dogma, Clerks, Jay and Silent Bob) along with his Clerks co-starts Jason Mewes, Brian O'Halloran, Tervor Fehrman, and Jeff Anderson will be in attendance.

Robert Englund or as he is more widely known as Freddy Kruger (A Nightmare on Elm Street Franchise) will be in attendance.

Along with Shatner, fellow Star Trek Alumni Brent Spiner (Star Trek: The Next Generation) and John De Lancie (Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Picard) will be beaming down to Calgary Fan Expo.

This years event is taking place after two years of upheaval due to COVID-19.
