From its industrial backbone, represented by major players like the McCain Factory and Simplot, to its vibrant residential neighbourhoods, Portage La Prairie is a city that embraces diversity and opportunity.

Whether it's hosting international events like the World Hockey Championships or providing state-of-the-art facilities for local teams and athletes, sports are woven into the fabric of daily life in this community. From the Stride Place, home of the Portage Terriers hockey team, to the Outdoor Water Park, to the baseball diamonds and football fields, and yes even the local golf course, Portage La Prairie offers something for every sports enthusiast. It's a testament to the city's commitment to promoting an active and healthy lifestyle for its residents and visitors alike.
Of course, no visit to Portage La Prairie would be complete without a stop at one of its most iconic landmarks: the World's Largest Coca-Cola Can.
