SPECIAL: Election Season

Welcome to a special edition of the Cross Border Interviews. My name is Chris Brown, and I’ll be your host for today's episode.

Today’s special episode, we will be taking a look at the recent Alberta Municipalities Conference in Edmonton, where Premier Danielle Smith and Alberta NDP Leader Rachel Notley spoke.

The Alberta Municipalities: President Summit on the Future of Municipal Government was hosted from March 29th to March 31st in the provincial capital of Edmonton.

It was hosted in conjunction with the Alberta Municipalities Spring Municipal Leaders Caucus. Smith and Notley took part in the Municipal Leaders Caucus.

The event was described as having a focus on key - top-of-mind issues affecting communities and giving attendees a chance to hear from elected officials prior to the May 29th, Alberta Provincial Election.
