Three Years Later: Saskatoon Councillor Bev Dubois

Today we are doing something a bit different.

Today we are going back to 2023, when we attended our very first SUMA Convention in Saskatoon. That's where we first sat down with Saskatoon City Councillor Bev Dubois to discuss the challenges facing her city.

At the time, Saskatoon was led by Mayor Charlie Clark. Today, three years later, Cynthia Block is at the helm, a new council is in place, and the city continues to grow and change.

But have the issues changed?

In 2023, we talked about communications, what wants and needs of accessibility to council, and the role of a councillor.

Three years later, have things improved? Have they gotten worse? Or is the councillor still wrestling with many of the same challenges?

And with just two years until the next municipal election, what comes next? What does council need to accomplish, and what should residents expect before they head back to the polls?

Today, we're reconnecting with Saskatoon Councillor Bev Dubois to look back at the last three years, take stock of where Saskatoon stands, and discuss what lies ahead.

Three years later, the conversation continues.
