Cypress County sets by-election for vacant councillor position

Residents in Ward 9 of Cypress County will head to the polls on February 7th, to replace former councillor Alfred Belyea.

Belyea was found dead after a search for him started in early October 2021.

Two candidates have put their names forward to replaced the former councillor, Keith Ritz and Layla Vickerman.

Voting will take place in Suffield Community Hall from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on February 7th, with advance voting taking place on February 5th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
