The Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities (FONOM) is hosting the first 2022 Ontario Leadership Election debate on Tuesday, May 10.
Four main leaders have been invited to the debate, including PC Leader and current Premier Doug Ford, Leader of the Opposition and Ontario NDP Andrea Horwath, Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca, and Green Leader Mike Schreiner.
FONOM says the debate will focus on issues important to citizens of Northern Ontario and will be held at the Capitol Centre on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, starting at 1:15 p.m.
According to the FONOM website, "The Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities (FONOM) is the unified voice of Northeastern Ontario, representing and advocating on behalf of 110 cities, towns and municipalities. Our mission is to improve the economic and social quality of life for all northerners and to ensure the future of our youth."
