Mundell Wins LeRoy By-Election

In a resounding victory, Alrin Mundell emerged as the winner in the Town of LeRoy, Saskatchewan's recent by-election held on Wednesday, October 4th.


The by-election, which featured two candidates, Alrin Mundell and Donald Brown, saw Mundell securing a commanding lead with 54 votes compared to Brown's 12.


The small town of LeRoy, situated 160 kilometers east of Saskatoon, boasts a close-knit community of approximately 500 people. The by-election became a focal point of local attention, drawing significant voter turnout and generating widespread interest.


LeRoy's incumbent Mayor, Kurt Schreiner, took to social media on Thursday morning to extend his gratitude to all the candidates who had stepped forward in the by-election.


Schreiner added, "I'd like to thank all candidates for putting their names forward! Also, congratulations Alrin Mundell, look forward to working with you."
